Dragging my MOH, Dionne, we went to Quiricada St. in Tondo under the heat of the sun (Sorry, D! We didn’t bring any umbrella.) Arriving at exactly 10am, we buzzed in. He (I will disclose his name once we have checked it off in our list.) was not yet in, but it’s ok. After a couple of minutes looking around his shop, I received a text message, apologizing for the delay and promised to be there soon. True enough, after a few minutes, he arrived.

We discussed the usual – how many ento, colors, etc. He asked his assistant to get my measurements, and quickly drew a sketch. And the verdict… Eyeloveit! There were 2 sketches and I can’t decide which one! He also made 2 sketches for Dionne. And she likes it! Yey! I’m excited to see how he will execute our colors.

I hope we can check gowns off in from our list soon.

1. August 9, 2010
When we got engaged this September, we wanted to get married next year. But there was no specific date yet. Then we consulted our families, asked the ones in the US and CA what months are they arriving. Most of them will be here in July and August. August 9 is our anniversary, so it will be our 5th year together on our wedding day. 08.09.10 — PERFECT!!!

2. Our Lady of Remedies (Malate Church)
We wanted a church that’s close to our hearts. This is where we hear mass since it’s relatively in the middle of Pasay (where Benj lives) and Malabon (where I live). The Manila Bay sunset was a bonus.

3. Tiffany Blue and Chocolate Brown
I wanted a simple and elegant wedding. Benj wanted a simple wedding. What comes to mind when someone says “simple and elegant”? Tiffany! Of course.

4. Angels Brought Me Here by Guy Sebastian
First time I heard that song, I wanted it to be my wedding march. And now it will be, on August 9, 2010. *dreamy sigh*
